I offer private coaching to help you get into a peaceful relationship with food and feel more confident in your body—so that you can give more of you (your energy, focus and thoughts) to the rest of your life!

As a certified intuitive eating counselor, I'll help you Relearn what your body wants and needs by breaking down the myths and lies diet culture has taught you. Reconnect with your body's individual needs, including hunger, fullness and satisfaction. I also help you Redefine your health as you discover what matters most to you.

My anti diet approach incorporates heathy at every size and addressing self talk as a key component to your success.

Please note: My coaching programs are not available for people struggling with active eating disorders (i.e. those who are engaging in dangerous behaviors such as purging, or those who are engaging in food restriction or bingeing once a week or more). If you have an eating disorder, please see the National Eating Disorders Association for referrals instead.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR WORK TOGETHER

In my individual coaching sessions, I’ll challenge you to let go of the harmful beliefs you hold about food and your body, and help you replace them with compassionate self-talk and behaviors that promote true overall well-being—which includes emotional health and your relationship with food, not just what you eat.

I’ll provide one-on-one support as you go through this process, and offer tools and resources to help you implement our work between sessions. You'll also have access to me via a private HIPPA compliant app for follow-up questions.

When we begin our work together, we’ll dive into exploring how the diet mentality is showing up for you in subtle & sneaky ways, and how to shift your mindset from one of deprivation and "good vs bad" thinking to one of acceptance and self care.

I’ll help you make peace with even the foods you right now consider off-limits, so that ultimately you can be around any food at home or out an about and not be afraid of losing control.

I’ll also help you make peace with your body, and start engaging in physical activity for the joy of movement rather than for weight control or manipulation.

You'll learn that it's possible to choose nourishing foods without having to use willpower or control, but because you actually like them.

Ultimately your relationship with food will take its rightful place as just a small detail of your life and you will be able to give more to what matters to you!
